Frequently asked questions.
Every plan starts with a 30-day pilot period where you onboard your first corridor, connect your asset geometry, and run the platform against a real project. You pay the standard monthly rate during the pilot. If Larx does not work for your operations workflow, you can cancel within the 30 days and we will refund your first payment.
A corridor mile is the centerline length of any linear asset you are monitoring in Larx, measured in miles. This applies to transmission lines, pipelines, distribution feeders, or any other linear geometry you import. Area-based monitoring (environmental sites, polygon areas) is converted to a linear equivalent based on perimeter. Your account dashboard shows current usage against your plan limit.
Yes. You can upgrade from Starter to Professional at any time. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and we prorate the remaining days in your current billing period against the new plan rate. There is no penalty for upgrading mid-cycle.
Larx aggregates imagery from commercial satellite providers across multiple orbital constellations, selecting the best available coverage for each corridor area based on cloud cover, resolution, and recency. The specific provider mix varies by geography and satellite availability. All imagery is processed through Larx's change-detection pipeline before delivery to your workspace. You can view the source metadata for any imagery scene in your account.
Annual billing charges the full year upfront at the discounted rate (15% off monthly pricing). You receive a single invoice at the start of your annual term. Renewals happen automatically unless you cancel before your renewal date. We issue a reminder 30 days before each annual renewal.
Larx imports corridor geometry from standard GIS formats including shapefile, GeoJSON, GML, and KML. Professional and Enterprise plans support live API sync with ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and custom GIS backends. All plans support CSV-based asset registry imports. The integrations page has a full list of supported systems and connection methods.
